 The Spruce Creek Property Owners Association (SCPOA) is primarily responsible for the
management of the community. In fact, their responsibilities go much further. Many of these responsibilities are handle by various committees made up of members of the community who devote
many hours to insuring that Spruce Creek continues to be the best residential Fly-In community in the world.
These committees report to the Board of Directors. The Directors are elected by the property owners. The many committees include the following:
- The Finance Committee
- The Long Range Planning Committee
- The Airport Committee
- The Security Committee
- The Community Relations Committee
- The Architectural Review Committee
One of the interesting and perhaps most important pieces of information pertaining to the POA has to do with the ownership and control of the aviation facilities at Spruce Creek. They are owned and
controlled by the property owners through the Property Owners Association. Furthermore, use of the facilities cannot be changed or limited in any way without the assent of 90% of all of the property
owners. This insures that the runway will stay a runway,
